Evan Fackler is a writer, editor, and educator from the great state of Ohio. His work can be found at North Carolina Literary Review, The Adroit Journal, Entropy Magazine (RIP), Great Lakes Review, Lunch Ticket, and storySouth, where he is contributing interviews editor. He is the recipient of fellowships from the Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing as well as Writers in Paradise. His short story “IDPs” won the 2024 Doris Betts Prize in Fiction and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. He is currently working on his debut story collection.Evan holds a BA in English from Earlham College, an MA in English Literature from Miami University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.He lives in Greensboro with his wife and their one two cats.
